Fabrizio Adani took his Masters in Agricultural Science from the University of Milan in 1988. From 1988 to 1999, he worked for private firms on biomass recovery and waste management. Fabrizio took his Ph.D in Environmental Protection in 1994, from University of Basilicata. From 1994 to 1996 he worked as a contract researcher at the G. Natta Institute of Politecnico in Milan, where he worked on polymers and sulfonation of organic molecules. From 1997 until now, he has worked for the University of Milan, on soil chemistry, biomass recovery and use, waste management, biomass chemistry and bioenergy production. Serving as a full professor, he is responsible for a research team of twenty junior and senior researchers.
