The aim of the seminar is to provide a synthetic description of the aerobic/anoxic/anaerobic respirometric techniques for the study and optimization of the purification processes.
During the seminar the audience is introduced to the topic first giving theoretical and practical bases. Then, the seminar moves to an applicative ground showing real examples of use of the data obtained with such techniques.
The techniques illustrated are those relating to the detection of BMP (Biochemical Methane Potential), the execution of ATA tests (Anaerobic Toxicity Assays) as well as tests relating to the biological oxidation of COD, to biological Nitrification and Denitrification.

Graduated in 2007 (M. Sc), he got his PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2010 at Politecnico di Milano. Then, after 6 years of academic research and didactic activities at the same University he dedicated himself to the professional activity and he founded the innovative start-up: IDEA BIOPROCESS TECNOLOGY, a company dedicated to the development of smart laboratory devices for the study of biotechnological processes.
