Lawyer Ferraris primarily deals with issues related to environmental law (in particular, waste and remediation), renewable energy, urban planning, and construction — also in relation to commercial regulations (such as permits for medium and large retail structures). He provides ongoing legal consultancy to local public authorities (Provinces and Municipalities) as well as to wholly or partially publicly owned companies involved in the management of public services.

Since 2012, he has been a speaker at various nationally significant conferences, including ECOMONDO, ASSOAMBIENTE, ANEPLA, CIB, and REMTECH EXPO FERRARA.
