Leading the development of a nationwide second-hand clothing collection system, now active in over 1,400 municipalities across Italy, reaching approximately 15 million people. Over the years, I have spearheaded the creation and optimization of various service models, tailored to municipalities and multi-utilities, with a focus on enhancing the reuse and recycling of post-consumer textiles.

A key focus has been exploring innovative methods for textile recovery, addressing critical challenges in the end-of-life management of textiles. In parallel, I have been instrumental in expanding a network of second-hand retail shops, promoting the direct reuse of textiles and fostering collaboration within the reuse sector across Italy.

I am committed to supporting a wide range of reuse and upcycling initiatives in partnership with civil society, research institutions, and educational organizations. This includes implementing targeted communication strategies aimed at encouraging sustainable consumer choices and promoting the circular economy within the textile industry.

In addition, I have worked to establish an international value chain for second-hand clothing, ensuring efficient management from collection to end-user and recycling processes. I actively contribute to the development of comprehensive guidelines for the textile sector and engage in forums at both national and European levels to advance circular economy initiatives.
