Brenda Insonne obtained her bachelor’s degree from University of Naples and her master’s degree in environmental and land engineering from Politecnico di Torino. She is currently working at the Research, Development and Innovation Department of Gruppo CAP, the integrated water system operator for the Metropolitan City of Milan. Starting May 2021, she led national and European- funded research projects, to bring innovation to the water service management. In her role, she provides technical support in the organisation’s research projects, overseeing their implementation to ensure the successful advancement of R&D activities, focused not only on integrated water service, but also waste management, renewable energies such as biomethane, sustainability, circular economy.
