Co-founder and sole director of Circular S.r.l., Antonio Covais is a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Energy and holds a PhD in Industrial Technical Physics – "ENERGETICS" (01.2004–03.2007) from the University of Palermo.

A freelance professional since 2002, he has gained experience in technological systems and is an expert in environmental pollutants, including air and noise pollution. Since 2002, he has worked independently in the fields of energy and acoustics. From 2004 to 2015, he conducted research in thermofluid dynamics and passive solar systems.

From 2010 to 2012, he was a Contract Lecturer in the subject "Thermofluid Dynamic Measurements and Controls" (Scientific disciplinary field: ING-IND/10 – Industrial Technical Physics), during the 2010/2011 academic year at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Palermo.
