FAST is the Federation of scientific and technical associations, founded in 1897 with the aim of promoting technical, scientific and environmental training and information, research, innovation, technology transfer, the principles of Sustainable Development, encouraging young people to deepen their interests in the scientific world and motivate them to pursue a career in scientific research.

The most qualified cultural associations, or their sections, all independent and non-profit, which carry out their activities in the field of scientific and technical disciplines and their applications, are part of the Federation.

Also through these connected organizations, Fast can have the most significant skills in the various fields of technology. Interdisciplinary initiatives are jointly promoted and organized by various federations with the coordination of the central structure.
