Cisambiente Association, Confederation of Environmental Services, was founded on 29 September 2016 within the historic Confindustria Palace.
The Confederation was strongly desired by a group of entrepreneurs from the environmental and renewable energy sectors. It was established to protect and enhance those companies that have consistently demonstrated significant efforts in the management of urban and special waste. This association is achieving the goal of turning the principles of the circular economy into reality and integrating them into the territorial context of the individual member companies within the Confindustria network.
Cisambiente thus becomes a model of a new associative system, cutting across multiple Confindustria sectors and representing not only the traditional environmental hygiene services but also acting as a catalyst for businesses, helping them achieve their projects and aspirations while ensuring proper protection.
Cisambiente's institutional mission is to promote and oversee institutional, trade union, and technical-scientific activities within the Italian environmental sector, driving significant changes in an industry with well-established practices. The Association tackles and addresses issues related to services, disposal plants, material and energy recovery and processing from waste, as well as the remediation of contaminated sites. The actions and commitments of the Association and its members are carried out in the name of defending work and social dignity.
Since its establishment, the Confederation of Environmental Services Enterprises, Cisambiente, has solidified its position as a model of a new associative system, cutting across multiple Confindustria sectors and representing far more than just traditional environmental hygiene services.
