A different cultural approach is required. We can no longer focus solely on what we can extract from nature; instead, we must start considering what we can learn from it.
A vision of growth that harmonises available resources with respect for nature in all its forms is essential. This vision must facilitate the transition from a linear economy to a circular economy. At the heart of the circular economy is the idea of enabling multiple productive cycles for each product. This reduces resource waste and harmful emissions while generating social and territorial value.
Adopting a circular economy model revolutionises the way products are created and designed. In the coming decades, we will face many environmental challenges in the pursuit of truly sustainable development.
Circular Economy Let’s Talk was founded by Simone and Luca Martino with the aim of fostering a clear understanding of the circular economy, analysing the industries where its principles are applied, exploring how and where they can be implemented, and highlighting the urgency of embracing this approach for both current and future generations.
The initiative will emphasise the holistic nature of the circular economy by showcasing the interconnections between various aspects of our daily lives that it influences. Discussing the circular economy also means addressing energy and sustainable development goals.
For this reason, Circular Economy Let’s Talk will highlight projects based on these principles and the progress being made. It will engage with key players driving this transformation and with relevant institutions.
