Assoutenti APS is an association that has been protecting consumer rights since 1982, with a particular focus on users of public services.
Committed to defending transparency and competition, it promotes a free and sustainable market. Sustainability is a key pillar of its activities, with ongoing efforts to encourage responsible consumer choices, from combating counterfeiting to environmental protection, through awareness projects aimed at fostering more conscious and resource-respectful consumption.
Its main activities include:
- Sustainability and environment: promoting a responsible consumption culture, raising awareness against food waste and counterfeiting, and protecting natural resources.
- Transport and sustainable mobility: defending passenger rights and fighting harmful practices in the transport sector.
- Insurance and banking: promoting transparency and competition while ensuring economic and social sustainability.
- Safe digitalisation: educating and raising awareness of digital risks, advocating for safe and accessible technologies for all.
- Health and well-being support: initiatives against addiction, encouraging healthy and informed lifestyles.
Assoutenti is a member of CNCU and has over 60,000 members nationwide.
In 2018, it launched Expo Consumatori, now in its 7th edition. This is the first event in Italy dedicated to excellence in sustainable growth, prosumers, and the shared economy, aiming to help consumers embrace a new vision of the world.
